Full Ice makes money in ways that could bias what it publishes. Here is the complete list, and what is done about each one. Last updated August 20, 2026.
Adam Collins is part of the team at Titan BattleGear, a hockey safety apparel brand. That is stated on any item here that touches equipment, so you always know where it is coming from.
In practice: when neck protection or protective equipment comes up, the affiliation is named in the body of the item, not in a footnote. Where Titan’s cut-resistance testing is relevant it gets cited like any other source, with the standard and the numbers, so you can weigh it yourself. Rules and requirements are attributed to USA Hockey’s rulebook.
Some gear recommendations use affiliate links. If you buy through one, Full Ice may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked as affiliate links in the issue, every time, and the recommendation is made first and monetised second, never the reverse. Nothing is recommended that would not be recommended without the link.
Sponsored placements are labelled as sponsored. Sponsors do not review editorial before it ships, do not choose the subjects covered, and cannot remove coverage. Recruiting services and anything promising outcomes for a player are not accepted. Partner enquiries: [email protected].
Full Ice is independently published by Full Ice Media and is not affiliated with USA Hockey, Hockey Canada, the NCAA, the CHL, or any league, program, school, or manufacturer. Nothing in it is financial, legal, or medical advice, and nothing in it will get a player recruited, drafted, or signed. It reports what the rules are and when the deadlines land.
